Delhi Police has said that the violence which erupted on Friday following spark of tension between two groups in Trilok Puri area of East Delhi, is now under control. In a statement, the police said that adequate police force have been deployed in the affected area to prevent any outbreak of tension.

Prohibitory order under section 144 of CrPC has also been imposed in the area. During the incident, 20 persons including 13 policemen were injured. Police had yesterday arrested 10 miscreants under various sections of law in connection with the incident and over 70 miscreants were apprehended.
