India Meteorological Department – IMD said overall progress of monsoon is fairly satisfactory. DG I MD K J Ramesh said so far, all India rainfall has been 100 percent. He said monsoon has covered most parts of country, except Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajsthan, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Jammu Kashmir. He said monsoon will advance in these areas between 30th June and 4th July.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, rain lashed the national capital this afternoon, bringing relief to Delhiites from scorching heat. The city has so far received 15.6 millimetre rainfall.
