Prof Dulal Panda of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has been conferred with G N Ramachandran Gold Medal award for excellence in Biological Sciences and Technology for the year 2012. The award was presented by the Union Minister for Science and Technology Mr Vyalar Ravi on the occasion of 70th Foundation Day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research CSIR in New Delhi today. The Minister also presented CSIR Innovation Award 2011 to 22 school children to enhance creativity amongst them .
