<span style="color: #222222;">Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Vinai Kumar Saxena today said that the production of Khadi has recorded 29 per cent growth in the country. Talking to news persons in Guwahati, Mr. Saxena said that KVIC has approached various educational institutes and departments to adopt khadi products. He said that 94 million square metres of Khadi has been produced during the last six years.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chairman mentioned that MoU was signed with Tribal Affairs Ministry to supply six lakh metres of Khadi clothes to school by March this year. He also said that North Eastern states have tremendous potentiality to promote the indigenous products.&nbsp;</span>
