Despite unseasonal rains and hailstorm this year, Rabi crop has recorded a bumper yield and farmers need the support of official procurement agencies to purchase their agricultural produce.</span><br />''<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has asked States and Union Territories to put all arrangements in place to commence wheat procurement for the Rabi Market Season 2020-21. He said, social distancing norms should be strictly followed during the procurement.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Paswan said, a duty roster for staff, workers and labourers should be prepared by all procurement centres, godowns, offices and ensure that there is no shortage of labour. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, the state government has issued instructions so that farmers do not face any difficulty in harvesting and marketing of their crops.
