In Madhya Pradesh, procurement of coarse cereals on support prices from registered farmers, has begun from today for the current Kharif season. The procurement process will continue till the 31st January of next year. The Madhya Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation has been made nodal agency for the procurement process. The state government has constituted district-level committees to take decisions about monitoring of procurement process, quality of surplus and other issues.
