Delhi Government says, the process of trifurcation of MCD has been completed and all arrangements have been put in place for smooth functioning of the three new bodies. Director of Local Bodies R K Srivastava said the process for division of financial resources, staff and properties of the MCD into three parts has been completed as per established administrative practices.The Directorate will coordinate functioning among all the three municipalities and he will be entrusted with the responsibility of framing administrative rules and other necessary ground work for constitution of the three bodies.
