The process of granting licenses to new medical colleges will be completed by 15th of next month. This was revealed by Chairman of Board of Governors of Medical Council of India, S.K. Sarin. Talking to reporters, Mr Sarin said that the report of all 81 colleges which had sought recognition will be submitted to the council today. Sarin added that the information of faculties provided by the colleges will be uploaded on the MCI website for public verification. A new board of governors had taken over MCI on 24th of last month following the arrest of the then MCI President Ketan Desai on graft charges.
