<span style="color: #222222;">Proceedings in both the Houses of Parliament were stalled for the third day today with the opposition continuously insisting on a discussion on the Delhi violence issue. The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha witnessed repeated adjournments during the day. However, the Lok Sabha adopted the Direct Tax Vivad Se Viswas Bill, 2020 before adjourning finally for the day amid noisy scenes. Earlier in the morning when the Lok Sabha assembled for the day opposition members from Congress, TMC, DMK, SP, BSP, left parties and others rushed to the well of the House raising slogans in support of their demand for the discussion. Some of them carried placards.<br />''<br />'' Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, the government is ready to discuss on the issue on 11th March after the Holi. However, opposition members were reluctant to the suggestion and continued to indulge in sloganeering. Presiding Officer's efforts to pacify the agitating opposition members and to conduct the House did not succeed. This forced the adjournment of the House till Noon. When the house re-assembled, the scene was no different leading to the second adjournment till 2 PM and later for the day.<br />''<br />''In the Rajya Sabha, when the House met for the day, Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu said that he has received a number of notices by the opposition for discussion on Delhi violence issue. He said, the House can take up the discussion on the 11th of this month after the Holi. Mr. Naidu said that he will discuss with the Leader of the House on the relevant rules and procedures under which a discussion can be taken up. However, members from Congress, Left, DMK, SP, BSP, TMC and others expressed dissatisfaction over the ruling by the Chairman. Some opposition members also trooped into the well of the House raising slogans. As noisy scenes continued, the Chairman adjourned the House for the day.</span><br />
