Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered a probe into the police lathicharge at Noorsarai in Nalanda district. The Chief Minister also ordered the suspension of guilty policemen involved in the lathicharge. A constable and a home guard jawan have already been suspended. AIR correspondent reprots, the Chief Minister has asked the Additional Director General of Police, Rajyavardhan Sharma to visit the spot and submit an interim report on the incident. About 12 people including women, were injured in the lathicharge on a agitating mob yesterday demanding the tracing of a missing lady panchayat official.
