<span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has asked private satellite TV channels to strictly adhere to the programme and advertising codes as prescribed in the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995. TV Channels have been advised to be particularly cautious with regard to any content which is likely to encourage or incite violence or contains anything against maintenance of law and order.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''The channels have also been advised to be cautious with content which promotes anti-national attitudes or contain anything affecting the integrity of the nation. The Ministry asked TV channels to ensure that no such content is telecast which is violative of the codes.</span><br />
