Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry expanded today

In Maharashtra, the Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry has been expanded today with the induction of 29 more Ministers. Governor K Sankaranarayanan administered oath of office and secrecy to the ministers at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.14 Cabinet ministers have been sworn-in from Congress Party. Well-known among them are Narayan Rane, Patangrao Kadam, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Harshavardhan Patil, Naseem Khan, and Varsha Gayakvad. Five Ministers of State from Congress have also been inducted including Rajendra Gavit. From Nationalist Congress Party, five Cabinet ministers have been administered oath today. Anil Deshmukh’ Baban Rao Pachpute, Hasan Mushreef are renowned faces among them. 5 State Ministers of State from NCP including Sachin Ahir, were sworn in today. However, the portfolios of the ministers are yet to be declared.Earlier, 11 Ministers were sworn in along with Prithvi Raj Chauhan as Chief Minister on Monday.
