In Pakistan, at least 50 prisoners were injured following clashes between jail officials and prisoners at the Faisalabad jail on Saturday evening. Reports say the clashes began when the newly-appointed Jail Superintendent Tariq Babar Warraich allegedly used derogatory language during inspection. He however denied the charge and said the prisoners were responsible for the escape of five inmates from the jail. The prisoners climbed up the roofs of the prison and started pelting bricks on the police. The situation worsened when the superintendent called for enforcements and tear-gassed the inmates.<br/>
