Britain’s Princess Royal, Princess Anne will arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday for a three-day visit to Bangladesh. Princess Anne is scheduled to meet Bangladesh President Zillur Rehman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her visit which is aimed at promoting links between Bangladesh and United Kingdom through social development projects, education and sports.Princess Anne who is also the Patron of the Acid Survivors Trust International will see the work being done by the Acid Survivors Foundation in Bangladesh and will also travel to Sathkhira and Bagherhat districts to review the post-Aila reconstruction and aid distribution work.Apart from this Princess Anne will also meet members of the Tiger Project in Sunderbans to highlight her support for the London Zoological Society’s work in preserving one of the world’s last key tiger populations. Princess Anne is the second child and only daughter of the Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh. This will be her fourth visit to Bangladesh.
