Prince William, Kate to attend Young Entrepreneurs Event in Mumbai

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton today laid a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. They paid tributes to the seventy thousand Indian soldiers who fought and died for the British during first World War.<br/><br/>Duchess and Duke also visited Gandhi Smriti in Old Birla House and paid their tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.<br/>They also attended a birthday party for Queen Elizabeth II, who turns 90 on 21st April, at the residence of the British High Commissioner. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host lunch for them tomorrow. The duo arrived in New Delhi today from Mumbai as part of their week long tour of India and Bhutan.

Prince William, Kate to attend Young Entrepreneurs Event in Mumbai

Winding up their first trip to Mumbai, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will attend Young Entrepreneurs Event at The Social in Mumbai this morning. The Social is a caf' and a collaborative work space. The Duke and Duchess will meet the emerging business talent. After the event, the couple will proceed to New Delhi, and pay visits to India Gate, Gandhi Smriti and attend Queen's Birthday party at the British High Commission.<br/><br/>Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess began their visit in Mumbai by visiting Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and laying wreath in memory of 2008 terror attack victims. Later they enjoyed the Gentlemen game, Cricket with Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar at the Oval Ground. The royal couple also interacted with representatives and children of three NGOs based in Mumbai — Magic Bus, Door Step School, and India's Childline.<br/><br/>Prince William and Kate later took an open-top bus tour of Mumbai with children and visited the Banganga water tank and met representatives from 'Smile' and other organisations working in an economically deprived urban area. In the evening, the couple attended a gala dinner hosted by British Deputy High Comission which was attended by several celebrities and other known personalities.
