Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. The Prime Minister is hosting lunch for the Duke and Duchess in the afternoon. The visiting dignitaries yesterday laid a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate in New Delhi. <br/><br/>They also paid tributes to the seventy thousand Indian soldiers who fought and died for the British during first World War.Duchess and Duke also visited Gandhi smriti in Old Birla House and paid their tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. They also attended a birthday party for Queen Elizabeth II, who turns 90 on 21st April, at the residence of the British High Commissioner. Duchess and Duke arrived in New Delhi yesterday from Mumbai as part of their week long tour of India and Bhutan.
