The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has appointed a high-level committee which will look into all matters relating to the organization and conduct of the the Commonwealth Games. The committee to be headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General V K Shunglu, will also look into the lessons to be drawn from it and submit its report within 3 months.The development comes with the Opposition stepping up its demand for a thorough probe into the allegations of corruption in the CWG related projects. The BJP has said that the probe into the allegations of corruption and irregularities and mismanagement of the commonwealth games, should be completed in a time bound manner. Party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said in New Delhi that guilty should not be spared.Earlier, Congress Spokesman Manish Tiwari also said that guilty, if any, should be brought to book
