In Nepal,Jhala Nath Khanal has resigned as Prime Minister. Mr.Khanal handed over his resignation to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav a short while ago . Earlier,today at the CPN-UML Central -Committee meeting, the Prime Minister who is also the party chairman announced that he would tender his resignation.The party also endorsed his decision.Mr.Khanal will address the Parliament tomorrow. Mr. Khanal has been under pressure from his own party who has opposed the reshuffle of his ministry and swearing in of nine ministers from the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (maoist) recently. He held The Opposition Nepali Congress had also asked his resignation according to the five point deal that was signed on June 30th leading to the extension of the Constituent Assembly by three months.
