Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed on INS Vikramaditya, country's largest warship, a short while ago. Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parikar and Navy Chief R K Dhowan accompanied him.

Mr Modi will witness air power demonstration by Naval Aircraft , including MiG 29K, Sea Harriers and Sea King helicopters.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to address officers and sailors of the Navy.

AIR correspondent reports that the 44,500-tonne warship acquired from Russia was commissioned in the Navy in November last year by the then Defence Minister AK Antony.
