Prime Minister Modi thanks Sheikh Hasina for 'mango gift'

<span style="color: black;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh for her 'thoughtful gesture' of sending mangoes. In his letter addressed to Prime Minister Hasina, Mr. Modi said that it was a pleasant reminder of the generous hospitality extended to him during the recent visit to Dhaka.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Prime Minister Modi said that the cooperation between the two countries has continued to flourish in all areas of bilateral relations despite the disruption caused by the COVID 19 pandemic. He expressed happiness that the follow up discussion and initiatives have taken place despite these disruptions.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had sent a consignment of Haribhanga mangoes  for President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 4. Haribhanga is a special variety of mango grown mostly in the Rangpur area of Bangladesh.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Prime Minister Hasina also sent mangoes for the Chief Ministers of West Bengal, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya as a gesture of goodwill. </span><br />''  <br />
