Prime Minister appreciates endeavor of ordinary individuals who work towards strengthening linguistic diversity of the country

<span style="color: #222222;">In Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio, talking about the diversity in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi   Modi gave the example of Kalpana whose endeavor is full of true spirit of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. Kalpana recently passed her class 10th examination in Karnataka. Prime Minister said the very special thing about her success is that, Kalpana did not know Kannada language till some time ago. She not only learned Kannada language in three months, but also scored 92 marks. Mr Modi congratulated Kalpana for her fortitude. He said there are many people in this country who are working towards strengthening the linguistic diversity of the country.<br />'' <br />'' He cited the example of Shripati Tudu  who hails from Purulia in West Bengal. Mr Tudu is a professor of Santhali language at Sidho-Kaano-Birsa University in Purulia. He has prepared a version of the country's Constitution in his native 'Ol Chiki' script for the Santhali community. Mr Modi appreciated this effort and called it a living example of the spirit of 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat'.<br />'' </span>Mann Ki Baat programme is not only popular in urban areas, but also quite popular in agency and fishermen belt in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on Mann Ki Baat and how he is inspired by Prime Minister's address in the Programme, a retired Government employee from Markapuram, Ram Bhupal Reddy, told AIR News  Prakasham District as to how he makes use of his retirement benefits. <br />'' <br />'' "Several poor girls due to financial problems stop their education in the middle.  I have come across such in my career.  I thought of doing something for the poor girls who try to continue their education.  I have been providing financial assistance from my salary to some poor girls in their education. After my retirement, instead of having my own happy life with the retirement benefits, I have deposited all the money in the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana for the benefit of the poor children. This makes me happy."<br />'' <br />'' A. Gopal Rao, a regular radio news listener, speaks about the salient features of Mann Ki Baat <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' "Mann Ki  Baat is a very good programme, where there is a lot of information about welfare schemes of the Government.  Prime Minister is identifying the right persons and interacting with those in the Mann Ki Baat and thus through mouth publicity, many get inspired from the programme. Thus Mann Ki Baat programme is very much useful".<br />''      <br />'' Prof. Saraswathi Raju Aiyar and Dr. G. Chenna Reddy of Acharya Nagarjuna University, while interacting with our Correspondent, Dr. G. Kondala Rao opine that Mann Ki Baat is a wonderful programme and PM, Narendra Modi ji is giving a right direction to youth and students from his inspiring words.  Several Research Scholars from the University consider the Programme as a "value addition programme" which touches almost all the important areas of the society. A regular follower of the Mann Ki  Baat, Mr. Venkateswara Rao, from  Srikakulam in AP,  considers, the programme as very valuable and youth and ryots will be benefited a lot from the programme.</span><br />''<br />
