Prices of kerosene, diesel up by Rs 5 in Nepal

In Nepal, the prices of diesel and kerosene has been increased by five rupees from Sunday. Diesel will now cost 73.50 nepali rupees per litre and kerosene 68. 50 nepali rupees per litre. Nepal Oil Corporation had decided to hike the prices in order to cut down mounting losses. Following the hike the monthly losses of the Corporation is expected to drop down to 740 million rupees. Last month the price of petrol was increased to 102 nepali rupees per litre.
