Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar today informed that 1,784 cases of Mucormycosis have been reported in the state and there is sufficient medicine allocated to the state to treat the patients. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru, the Minister said that 62 persons have recovered from the fungal infection and 111 people have lost their lives. He added that the State Government is considering including Mucormycosis treatment under Ayushman Bharat Arogya, Karnataka scheme.<br />''<br />''The Minister informed that 9,750 vials of Amphotericin-B drug used to treat Mucormycosis is allocated and has received 8,860 vials yesterday.
