The President and Vice President have greeted the people on the eve of Id-ul-Fitr. In her message Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil said that the festival brings joy and happiness on the culmination of the month of Holy Ramzan as it brings compassion and tolerance and instills a sense of brotherhood and goodwill among people. Extending his greetings, Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has expressed hope that the auspicious occasion may bring amity, prosperity and happiness to countrymen’s lives.
