President and Vice President have greeted the nation on the eve of the New Year. In her message, President Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil has wished for peace, harmony and all round progress in 2011. Mrs. Patil also urged the people to take a resolve to meet the challenges of the present decade and also to promote unity amongst all. Vice President, Mr. Mohammed Hamid Ansari has called on the citizens to work together with resolve and dedication towards building a strong, united, peaceful and prosperous India.
