The President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee will present the National Sports Awards at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi tomorrow. The awards include, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna, Dhyan Chand and Dronacharya awards. The awards are given every year to recognize and reward excellence in sports.London Olympic medal winners, shooter Vijay Kumar and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt have been chosen for the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award this year for their outstanding performance. The two players will receive an amount of 7.5 lakh rupees each.On the occasion, 25 sportspersons will be awarded with the Arjuna Awards. Besides this, eight coaches will be awarded with the Dronacharya awards given to outstanding coaches in sports and games.
