President Pranab Mukherji will jointly inaugurate “Europalia-India 2013-14” with the King of Belgium in Brussels today. The largest ever cultural display of India in any foreign land, Europalia-India will feature the country's art and architechture, customs and cuisine, songs and dance performances, music, literature and philosophy in its varied forms.

Addressing a reception hosted by the Indian community in Brussles last evening, Mr Mukherjee said, this unique cultural festival will lay bare the beauty of India before the Europeans.

The President called upon the Indian diaspora in Belgium to help foster cultural interaction between the two nations through programmes such as Europalia-India. Mr Mukherji will also meet with King Philippe, the king of Belgium today.
