The President Mr Pranab Mukherjee will flag off tomorrow a passenger solar car developed by the Delhi Technological University. According to a Rashtrapati Bhawan Communique, the car will represent India at the Sasol Solar Challenge being held in South Africa from 15th to 29th of this month. The DTU Solar Car is code named 'Solaris' and is one of the most innovative project of this University. On flag off, the Solar Passenger Car will run on Rajpath and then Circle India Gate to pay tributes to the martyrs of the nation before being shipped off for the competition in South Africa.
