The President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has signed notification on resignation of Calcutta High Court Judge, Justice Soumitra Sen.

The spokesperson of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Archana Dutta told our correspondent that Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil put her signature on the notification issued by Ministry of Law and Justice this evening.

Hand written resignation letter of Justice Sen was handed over to the President's Secretariat yesterday by his advocate.
