President Ramnath Kovind arrived in Chitrakoot on a day-long visit to Madhya Pradesh today. At Arogyadham Premises in Chitrakoot, Mr Kovind unveiled the statue of noted social activist Nanaji Deshmukh. <br/>At Chitrakoot, he also observed the projects by the Deendayal Research Institute. <br/><br/>Mr Kovind also visited the Ram Darshan Museum where he launched a coffee table book. He is been accompanied by state governor O P Kohli, UP Governor Ram Naik, MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Union Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad. He also visited the home of Nanaji Deshmukh and paid tribute to him. <br/><br/>The President will also honor the convocation ceremony of Jagatguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University of Chitrakoot at the Karvi district of Uttar Pradesh today itself. This one of its kind University was established to provide higher and professional education to persons with disabilities. Mr Kovind will give away degrees to more than five hundred students. <br/><br/>
