Prez Patil urges for strengthening rural health infrastructure

The President Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil strongly advocated the use of tele medicine techniques for cheaper and effective treatment across the country. Speaking on the occasion of 37th convocations of All India Medical Institute of Medical sciences in New Delhi Mrs. Patil called for strengthening the rural health infrastructure and urged the young doctors to work in these areas for better health care facilities. She expressed concern that millions of people living in villages have little access to quality health care and doctors have a great role in making this facility available to people . The President said that government has launched the ambitious National Rural Health Mission only to bridge the gap in this sector the urban and rural areas. <br/><br/>
