President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil has called an awareness to end the crime of female foeticide. Speaking at a function of Nani Chhan-A Little Shadow at Amritsar today she said it will be dangerous, if the number of women declines in the society. She also stressed the need to end dowry system in the country. She said equality will empower the society and the country.
