President Pranab Mukherjee today asked people to adopt the message of love, equality and harmony given by Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to transform the society. Addressing the 500th anniversary of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's advent to Vrindavan, Mr Mukherjee said, Indian civilization has many sects and beliefs and all converge into the vast ocean of humanity. <br/><br/>He said, predecessors and many successors of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also spread the uniform message of love, compassion and affection. The President said, in the modern age constitution has preserved the diversity of the country. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik said, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu re-established the forgotten and lost glory of Mathura Vrindavan and preached the message of Vasudhaiv Kumtumbakam.<br/><br/>In her address Member of Parliament from Mathura, Hema Malini said, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu integrated the whole nation through love and devotion and uplifted humanity. She said, Centre and state are working together to develop the Mathura Vrindavan region.
