The President and the Vice-President have greeted the nation on the eve of Milad-Un -Nabi that marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammad.

In her greeting President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil expressed hope that the message of service to humanity taught by the holy Prophet led the people to unity and fellowship.

In his message, Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has called upon the people to follow the path of love and tolerance towards creating a peaceful and just society.
