Nobel Prize winner Dr. Venkataraman Ramakrishnan, film actor Aamir Khan, and Music Director A. R. Rahman are among the prominent 66 persons who were conferred Padma Awards for 2010 by the President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhawan this evening. <br/><br/>Eminent theatre personality Ebrahim Alkazi, founder of Apollo Hospital Groups Dr. Pratap Chandra Reddy and Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Dr. Venkataraman Ramakrishnan were conferred with Padma Vibhushan awards. President also presented 22 Padma Bhushan awards. <br/><br/>Prominent among them were Film actor Aamir Khan, Music Director A. R. Rahman, Member Planning Commission, Prof. Abhijit Sen, Literary personality Prof. Satyavrat Shastri and industrialist Shripal Oswal. Forty one Padma Shri awards were also given away. Prominent among them are Science Educationist Prof. Arvind Kumar , Musician Ustad Faiyaaz Wasifuddin Dagar, Hockey player Ignace Tirkey, Cardiologist Dr. K. K. Aggarwal, Musician Pandit Raghunath Panigrahi and National Bandminton Player Saina Nehawal . <br/>
