The President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has called upon the Universities to assess the requirements of the job market well in advance and structure courses in a manner that will help their students enter the employment market prepared for the jobs available.<br/><br/>Speaking at the 22nd annual convocation of the Goa University at Bambolim Mrs. Patil said Universities are centres of learning and have always been places where the skills and knowledge of students are chiseled to suit the requirements of the work place. <br/>Earlier, the President was conferred with the honarary Degree D. Litt. at the hands of the Goa Governor Dr. S S Sidhu. The Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat also attended the function.<br/>
