The President has approved the dissolution of the Jharkhand Assembly with effect from the 1st of next month. Earlier the Cabinet had recommended the dissolution of the Assembly during its meeting on Thursday.<br/><br/>The Election Commission announced the election schedule yesterday for asssemly polls in the state which had been placed under President's rule in January this year. The elections will be held in five phases strarting from the 27th of next month and the last phase on the 18th of December. The counting will take place on the 23 of December.
