The BJP has described the Presidential address to the joint sitting of both the Houses of Parliament as directionless.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Party spokesman Prakash Javdekar alleged
that the Centre is trying to take away the powers of the states by setting up of the National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC).
Mr Jagdambika Pal of the Congress said that the UPA government is determined to raise the GDP from the present seven per cent to nine per cent. He said the government has taken several measures to check corruption and bring back the black money stashed at abroad.
