On the occasion of Independence Day, 16 RPF personnel,including an IG, were awarded the President’s Police Medal for
distinguished service and Police Medal for meritorious service.

Premjit Singh Rawal, IG (Crime and Intelligence) Railway Board; Raja Ram, Chief Security Commissioner, Research Design and Standard Organisation (RDSO) Lucknow and P K Mohandas, Divisional Security Commissioner South Western Railway are among the 16 RPF personnel awarded the President’s Police Medals.

S Bhattacharya of Eastern Railway, B S Prabhu of South Central and K Vishwakarma of North Central Railway are among others who got the award.
