Opposition Presidential elections Meira Kumar reached Patna on Thursday for campaigning in her favour. She addressed party leaders of RJD and Congress and said she is fighting an ideological battle and appealed to all public representatives to cast their votes as per their conscience for strengthening the secular forces in the country. <br/><br/>Mrs.Meira Kumar has sought time to meet JD (U) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. However, there was no word from Mr. Kumar. Interestingly before Mrs.Meira Kumar's arrival in Patna, the Chief Minister left for his home district Nalanda. Mrs.Meira Kumar, is scheduled to meet RJD Chief Lalu Prasad during her three day visit to Bihar .
