<span style="color: #222222;">In Sri Lanka, presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa has said the country's security can only be reaffirmed in a Rajapaksa era with well-guided and planned intelligence units. Addressing a public rally today, he alleged that there was no concern for national security since the current government came to power. His main rival and minister Sajith Premadasa has announced to appoint former army commander Sarath Fonseka as in charge of security affairs in a move to counter it. Presidential elections are scheduled for 16th of next month and are being contested by 35 candidates. </span><br />
