President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted people on the occasion of Vaisakhi. <br/><br/>In his message, President Pranab Mukherjee said, Vaisakhi celebrates the sweat and toil of the farmers who bring good harvests and happiness to the homes of the people. <br/><br/>He called on people to show gratitude to Mother Earth on this day and pledge to protect nature for its best blessings on people's lives. <br/><br/>He also urged people to share happiness with one and all on this happy occasion, especially those who are in need. The President asked people to resolve to re-double the efforts to contribute to the nation's prosperity, unity and fraternity.
