President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted the nation on the eve of Dussehra. In her message, the President said that Dussehra celebrates the victory of Good over Evil. Mrs Patil said that the festival is a time to celebrate our unity as a nation and it should motivate the people to work whole heartedly for the betterment of the nation.

Vice President Md. Hamid Ansari has greeted nation on the eve of Dussehra. In his message he said that the festival of Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil with traditional gaiety. Mr Ansari hoped the festival will inspire us to work for peace and prosperity of our nation.
