President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have greeted the people on the eve of Janmashtami. <br/><br/>In his message, Mr Kovind said, the ideals of Lord Krishna's life are of universal relevance. He said, Lord Krishna's message of standing up for righteousness against evil, working for universal well-being and focusing on responsibilities rather than rewards is inspiring for all.<br/><br/>The President asked the people to commit themselves to follow the path of virtue shown by Lord Krishna and strengthen the society and nation by contributing to the well-being of the people. <br/><br/>In his message, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said, the eternal message of performing the duties with sincerity without attachment to the results bestowed by Lord Krishna in the 'Bhagwad Gita' has been a source of inspiration for entire humanity. <br/><br/>He asked the citizens to resolve to perform their duties and seek the path of righteousness.
