President and Vice President have greeted the nation on the occasion of Christmas. In his message, President Pranab Mukherjee wished everyone a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year. He expressed hope this Christmas will be an occasion for hope and happiness as well as an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of sharing and brotherhood. <br/><br/>In his message, Vice President Hamid Ansari said the festival reaffirms people's faith in the values of compassion and forgiveness taught by Lord Jesus. He expressed hope the festival will bring peace, harmony and happiness in the people's lives.
