President, Vice President and Prime Minister have greeted the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Onam. President Ram Nath Kovind offered greetings and good wishes to the people of the country on the ocassion. <br/><br/>In his message, the President said, Onam celebrates the hard work and toil of our farmers. Mr Kovind said, may this festival be an occasion for celebration and sharing joy with our families, while not forgetting to reach out to those in need. <br/><br/>Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu said Onam celebrated with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm, reflects the central role of agriculture in Indian Society. In a message, Mr Naidu said may the festival usher in peace, prosperity and happiness in country. <br/><br/>On the occasion of Onam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished that may this auspicious festival enrich our society with happiness, harmony and wellbeing.
