President, Vice President, PM express grief over loss of lives due to mishap in Shahjahanpur

At least 15 devotees including 7 children died and many more were injured after a tractor trolley fell from a bridge into Garra river in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. <br />''<br />''The accident took place in Tilhar's Birsinghpur village. The driver of the tractor trolley carrying more than 40 devotees, mostly women and children, lost control over the vehicle. The tractor fell into the river after breaking the railing of the bridge. The villagers were going to participate in a religious function in a nearby village. 11 people have been rescued and are being treated at different hospitals.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #212529;">President Droupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the loss of lives of people including women and children in a road accident in Shahjahanpur. The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to the next of kin of each of the deceased. Mr. Modi said, 50,000 rupees will be given to the injured.</span><br />
