The President, Vice President and the Prime Minister have condemned the blast near the Delhi High Court. The President has expressed her deep sympathies for the families of those killed. She has also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blast.The Vice President and the Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Mohd. Hamid Ansari while condemning the blast, adjourned the house till 2pm. Condemning the blast, Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh described the incident as a cowardly act. Talking to reporters in Dhaka, he said that terrorism is a scourge and India will not succumb to it. The Prime Minister said that the country is fighting a long war against terrorism and all the political parties and people should stand united in this fight.
