President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have extended their greetings and good wishes to Parsi community on the occasion of Parsi New Year, Navroz.<br/><br/>In his message, Mr Kovind said, the Parsi community has made a valuable contribution towards national development and the making of modern India. He said, the celebration of the festival is an occasion for all to come together and feel proud of the composite culture and pluralistic society.<br/><br/>The President hoped that the unique festival, heralding the New Year will bring happiness and prosperity to all and strengthen the commitment to harmony and fraternity.<br/><br/>Vice President Naidu, in his message said, Navroz symbolizes the spirit of fraternity, compassion and respect for all. He said, the Parsi community has made an invaluable contribution to nation-building in various fields. The Vice President hoped that the auspicious occasion will bring peace, prosperity and happiness in people's lives.
