Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the occasion of Onam. In his message Mr Naidu said, Onam marks the beginning of the harvest season in various parts of our country and reflects the central role of agriculture in Indian society. He wished the the festival ushers the country in peace, prosperity and happiness. Mr Modi wished that the auspicious festival enrich our society with happiness, harmony and wellbeing.
